Whoops. We had some keyboard shortcuts bleeding into Perspective editing that were causing havoc.
- Fixed a bug: No more swallowing the "g" key when editing a Perspective
- Unified release notes across major versions (thanks to a member for the suggestion!)
- Show an explicit message when no aspects can be formed due to Perspective settings
This version sharpens the experience with better circular charts, newly designed list charts in mobile, and a redesigned essential dignity layout, including a new mini essential dignity grid for mobile. Smaller screens now get a fully responsive, sortable placement list, plus optional sign coloring by element on the chart wheel and clearer speed indicators for retrograde, slow, and fast placements.
- Fixed a bug (thanks to a member): Dropdowns for month and year in the calendar are now readable in Stellar Dark and Simple Dark
- Fixed a bug: number inputs for things like aspect or planetary orb are much easier to enter
- New layout of essential dignity on point placement
- The placement list (when you have a small window, like on tablet or mobile) is fully responsive
- Ability to sort a placement list in mobile or tablet views

- Option to color signs by element on the chart wheel
- Created three colors (retrograde, slow, fast) on the speed graph within a planet's detail page

This version focuses on foundational improvements that set the stage for what's coming next. We've been working behind the scenes on chart syncing, strengthening the data model, and refining the design system so Cosmic works smoothly across desktop today and mobile and tablet form factors very soon. The goal here is simple: make Cosmic more reliable, more flexible, and better suited to real practitioner workflows.

- The Cosmic Preview Release is a free download for desktop and laptop computers.
- We have no EULA because EULA's are stupid, however, this is pre-release software and you should expect bugs and missing features.
- We will do our best to ensure that the charts you created in the Preview Release migrate to the full release when it is available. However, you should keep your own backup of chart dates and locations just in case.
- When you run the Windows installer you'll see a dialog that says 'Windows protected your PC'. Click the 'More info' link, then click 'Run anyway' at the bottom of the dialog.
- There are hotkeys! Use the numbers 1 through 6 to navigate forward in time by year through second (respectively). Hold shift to go backward by the same increments.
- Change house system quickly by pressing 'h' then 'p' for Placidus, 'w' for Whole-Sign, 'o' for Porphyry, 'r' for Regiomontanus, and 'a' for Alcabitius.
- Want to customize your charts? Click the gear icon in the lower right corner and click on a Perspective (or create a new one).
